Pukka Pies

Right on our doorstep in Syston, Leicesteshire, Pukka Pies approached us to revamp one of their senior staff members offices. The brief was to create an office that was not your stereotypical office design but an office that had more thought behind it with different areas, one-off furniture pieces and had a relaxed but practical feel to it.

The room was not huge but with clever space planning Stirling Interiors created an office desk area, a small meeting area for 3-4 people and an informal meeting area using high backed booth seating. Two flooring finishes were specified, commercial carpet tiles for the more informal booth area and a commercial Amtico vinyl for the remainder of the office space.

Most would think that the office needed to have some Pukka Pie orange within it however, the orange remained to a minimum subtly featured within art work hung on the walls and the odd branded coaster scattered on the meeting and coffee tables.

A variety of finishes were selected to further enhance the personalisation of the office space. The main office desk was traditional in style finished in chunky, solid oak with traditional styling whereas sat just a meter away was a more contemporary white high gloss credenza unit with chrome push button handles.

The seating also used contrasting finishes, a luxurious neutral toned leather upholstery for the executive and visitors chairs and a muted blue colour pallet of fabrics for the more informal booth seating.

The office was softened further with the clever use of planting, wall art, accessories and a contemporary floor standing lamp.

The overall office design really worked well, the different areas were distinguished and quite different but they all still worked well together within the same room.
