The Brief
AR Demolition approached Stirling Interiors looking to refresh their boardroom and elevate the overall look and feel of the space. The key objective was to move away from a standard corporate meeting room and instead create a boardroom that felt considered, professional and distinctive.
Key requirements included:
-
Seating for up to 12 people
-
Comfortable seating suitable for long meetings
-
Integrated power access for laptops and devices
-
Wall space for a large TV screen
-
A separate area for a whiteboard
-
A warm yet neutral colour scheme
Our Approach
Stirling Interiors began the project by producing detailed space-planning layouts, allowing us to establish the correct size of boardroom table and identify the most effective positions for storage, presentation technology and wall features.
A bespoke boardroom table was specified to seat 12 people comfortably and was designed with integrated power outlets, keeping power and data connections neat, discreet and easily accessible for meetings and presentations. This ensured the space remained uncluttered while supporting modern ways of working.
Our design team developed a full interior design scheme for the boardroom, introducing a feature wall incorporating wood finishes and integrated greenery to add depth, warmth and visual interest. Neutral carpet tiles were selected to balance practicality with aesthetics, avoiding overly light finishes while maintaining a clean, professional appearance.
To complete the space, high-back boardroom chairs in a tan leather finish were chosen to provide comfort during longer meetings while adding a refined, premium feel. A coloured glass whiteboard was also specified in place of a standard office whiteboard, adding a subtle yet impactful design detail that elevates the overall look of the room.
